Celebrate Soulfully at Walt Disney World Resort

Across Walt Disney World this summer, you will discover a variety of exciting experiences to enjoy. Whether it’s the energy-infused rhythms of “Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park; the moving stories found in “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” exhibit at EPCOT or the mouth-watering tastes of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE, there are ways to feed every part of the soul throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Over at Disney Springs, you can keep your summer vibe going as you venture through the entertainment, shopping and dining destination. You can groove with musicians entertaining with sounds of jazz, R&B or Motown favorites, or enjoy one of the many brunch and happy hour hot spots such as STK, the House of Blues Restaurant and Bar or Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’!!

While you are at Disney Springs, you can stop by AMC theaters and catch the stirring documentary, “Summer of Soul.”  The directorial debut of musician Questlove, it chronicles the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival, featuring never-before-seen performances from iconic musical artists, including Stevie Wonder, Sly & The Family Stone, Gladys Knight & the Pips, B.B. King, The 5th Dimension and Mahalia Jackson. The film is part of Disney’s new Onyx Collective, a platform catering to creators of color and creatives under-represented in the entertainment industry.

You can go for some chill-in-the-sun/watery fun adventure at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Walt Disney World’s melting ski resort water park featuring beloved attractions: Summit Plummet, Teamboat Springs and the ever-popular Cross Country Creek, one of the country’s longest lazy rivers.

Come celebrate your summer – soulfully!
